1950’s Skirt Handmade from Wallach Printed Linen
1950’s skirt features novelty folk art printed on hand woven heavy linen, with fringe lining the bottom. There is a side-zipper and button closure. While there are no labels or tags, the block printed pattern on the fabric can be attributed to Moritz Wallach/the Wallach Workshops, Inc. from Germany/Bavaria. As the skirt was likely constructed in the 1950’s (as indicated by the type of zipper & button used for the closure), the fabric itself is likely much older.
Measurements taken while flat, and doubled as needed.
Waist: 28 inches
Hip: 44 inches
Length: 33 inches
